Happy Gotcha Day to my Ducky! I can't believe she's been a part of our family for a whole year! I've loved getting to know her and gradually earning her trust. Ducky is the sweetest, gentlest creature I've ever known. She doesn't like to play with toys or know how to use stairs, but she loves walks, treats, her blankies, and belly rubs. Her deep brown eyes express a life lived beyond her few years, but when she licks my hand like it's a salty pretzel, I know she knows she's found her Forever Home. Feeling so grateful.
