Gregory stiffened, finally seeing movement after staking out the side-street for nearly two hours. It became glaringly obvious that the man who appeared wasn’t the scruffy brunette he’d been expecting, but one whom he was unfamiliar with.
So much for it being a quiet night.
“Might I inquire as to what you’re doing here?” He called, a bit wary of the man coming closer. “This place isn’t safe for someone who stumbles in by accident.”
