my first ever artfight attack!! the one and only peppermint going kraken mode for @dogtoling :D they encouraged me to participate this year and ive already had way more energy to draw, im having fun!

my first ever artfight attack!! the one and only peppermint going kraken mode for @dogtoling :D they encouraged me to participate this year and ive already had way more energy to draw, im having fun!
so the IDEA behind this was that i was gonna draw riya using the styles of a bunch of different xeno/non-human-looking/whatever splatoon artists and then post them all together but then i drew this one and got impatient.
so this is riya in the style of the octolings @dogtoling draws! or at least it’s supposed to be lol

TBH i don’t really have that many thoughts about inktolings? i think theyre absolutely adorable and i’d love to play as one but ofc there’d probably be biology problems and stuff like that… i rb’d this one post by dogtoling a bit back, i think they have cool ideas!
i’ve also been influenced by this pearlina fic by fragunn, this fic by bingoboy, and this fic by fragunn AND bingoboy. (they’re in a relationship cuz of ao3 isn’t that insane!?) @/herosplatling-replica also has some really fun mom 24s that are stinkin adorable :3
