At a random takoyaki stall. I meant to go to Takoyaki Wanaka Sennichimae, but this one had seats.
Hozenji Yokocho, a small alleyway in traditional style.
You will also find the Kamigata Ukiyo-e Museum around here, which is diminutive but delightful.
Doguya-suji shotengai (covered shopping arcade) has kitchen and restaurant supplies. I was drawn to the various noren (fabric room dividers) being sold.
