I like to think of Doi and Kirimaru's relationship in the early seasons as a canon part of their development; I mean, when you think about it it makes sense. Kirimaru was much brattier, sassier. Hansuke almost matched him, and his anger was far too excessive. They constantly combated each other, Kirimaru picking at Hansuke's weak points any chance he got.

For them to slowly get comfortable with one another, possibly even by means of understanding the others' faults even before Kirimaru knew Hansuke's backstory, it feels right. It feels natural, it feels... sweet. 🥹

Thanks everyone recently liked and reblogged Doi/Kiri although don't know why. I found I haven't drawn them for a while. But anyway, thank you for your support. I think I still will love them for a long time.

I really don't need them to be a couple or lovers actually, I will be happier if they are not in some ways. But however, they must being together, just being together. In so many ways.
