Has there been a confirmation of when did Kirimaru lost his family?

I haven't found anything that mentions the specific ages of when Kirimaru became an orphan, so this is just a head cannon.

But I think Kirimaru lost his home when he was 5.

Reason:

Kirimaru, along with his friends, is 10 years old. Most children in Ninjutsu Academy started their training at 10.

Doi is 25, and he became a teacher at 20. Five years before the story. We know this since he started training the sixth graders on their first year. They are 15 now.

This is also a speculation, Sonnamon started his ninja training five years ago. He's now 19, when he was 10, he was taking care of Zatto for three years until he could officially start his training, which could be when he was 14, right after Zatto done healing.

So, if all of these speculations are correct. That could mean that in five years before the series, lots of significant things have happened to the characters.

This means Kirimaru could have lost his family when he was 5. Five years before he came to Ninjutsu Academy.

I just think if that's true, then it would be so poetic.
