What is your opinion on Carol J. adams?

She’s right about food being, to some degree, unnecessarily gendered; I’m willing to give her that.  But her “therefore, eating meat is a product of toxic masculinity and inherently sexist” extrapolation from that is nonsensical and (however ironically) vaguely gender-essentialist.  Settler feminism and settler veganism all rolled into one.

Also: there’s something TWERFy about her rhetoric (in before someone tries to derail about Deep Green Resistance; I’ve seen that happen before), and this statement of hers is completely asinine.

Fun fact, Tumblr (and note that this is aimed at actual site functionality as opposed to some imagined evil hive of space bees):  I can approve of a post sniping at douchebros/Douchebros’ Entitlement Activists...and still want exactly fuck-all to do with the sort of feminist who wouldn’t know intersectionality if it bit her on the ass!

In summary: half of those recommendations were bullshit.
