Okay I know Julie and Reggie are bi stereotypes in literally every way, and there are so many people on so many levels who must have some level of knowledge of queer culture and stereotypes and must know the stereotypes they fed into, but like. Specifically Soyon An has got to know what she was doing, putting Reggie in ripped jeans and flannels, 90s fashion trends aside, and literally braiding Julie’s hair with those bi colour string thingies and giving her the butterflies. The woman is a genius, and she even made willex have couple’s socks, there is no way she didn’t know how a modern audience of teenager+ queer folk would read Reggie and Julie when they’re looking at Luke/Flynn/Nick/etc like that while dressed like that
