Understand God's Ways
If you understand God's ways, prove that you live an honorable life. If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. James 3:13 NLT All the glory, praises and honor be to the Heavenly Father in Jesus' precious name ! The subject verse from the Book of James do call us to reflect upon the lives we are living. Have we really understood God's ways ? Are we wise enough and live an honorable life ? If we really come to the terms, we shall ultimately seek to live an honorable life for the glory of the Living God. As it is clear from the subject verse, we need to do good works with the humility that comes from the wisdom of God. Our talk, work and character Certainly the honorable life that is mentioned in the verse shall be visible to all. But it is not of pride, instead it is of humility. Moreover, their talk shall be graceful to all, healing to the afflicted, words of wisdom for troubled and above all they glorify the Living God. Truly, the way a person talks reflects what is inside his heart. For the Bible says that we speak-out what we have inside of our hearts. And the following verse confirms the same. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.Matthew 12:34 NKJV The wisdom that we receive from above shall be seen not only in our talks, but also in our works.
