She froze dead in her tracks, old bra and underwear in hand. Her breath caught in her throat and her chest constricted.

Beth tightened her hold on the sheet and turned to face him, hiding the hand that held her delicates behind her back. Seeing him in his bed like that, speaking her name, caused a rush of warmth to flow across her cheeks.
