"Huh? Oh, hello. Welcome to Marukyu," she greeted the group who recently came in. A few familiar faces, a few new ones.. Well, at least they didn't seem to be freaking out about them being near "Risette".. Thank God all of that stopped and there wasn't much hype about her anymore.. Though.. She did miss it.. but.. It really was too much for her. Would she go back if she was given the chance? Absolutely not. Does she miss the attention? ... Yes, she does.. But only a little!

She smiled softly to the group and studied them all.. They all did seem interesting.. The new faces she meant. She wondered what she could get to know about them a bit before they left with their order.. Or were they just lost? All questions would be answered when she speaks to one of them.

The American huffs, deciding whether or not to answer this question truthfully. 

Ultimately, Mercy seems to find there’s no harm in being honest.

“Since you were straightforward, then I will be, too, Anon.  But just… keep it to yourself, all right?”

The short redhead tugs at her hair in nervousness, mentally trying to find the best way to word her explanation. 

“I did it… Because… I didn’t know if Adachi would try and mess with his head by answering the request instead of me.  I’ll never pretend like I know exactly how Dojima-san feels, and I’ll never try and influence his decisions in any way, but I want him to have the chance to clear his head and think about things since he’s already confused enough as it is.  I don’t bother him because, I mean, we have nothing in common and I’d probably more of a nuisance to him than anything else and he doesn’t need more stress.”

She sighed, giving a half-hearted shrug.  “So even if it is just for a week I suppose it’s better than nothing, right?”

The American then narrowed her eyes at the gray-faced stranger.  “But for now, just tell people I said it’s because he’s old.  I have a reputation for not being nice.  I can’t ruin that now.”

“Whatcha callin’ me fer, ossifer?  Er, officer.  D-Did Dachi give you my number?  Y’know, yer kinda hot for an old guy.  When we gonna make out?  Uh, hang out.  HANG OUT IS WHAT I MEANT.”  There are various shuffling noises in the background, followed by a loud crash, along with a muffled ‘oof!’ from the American girl as she hits the floor and drops the phone.  The call is lost.
