At Dokhuis Amsterdam
Last night we performed '21st Century Clogs' in Dokhuis Amsterdam - and it was awesome! The space is a beautiful cafe that's actually a balcony heading down into a basement, with a giant hall on the back. We used all parts of the space to perform 6 wireless electronics pieces:
- FolkCLASH (2013)
- WRKSHP (2011)
- The Mill Song (2012)
- Robot Theater (2012)
- Bloodflood (2014 - cover of Alt-J)
- Bo is Burning (2013)
The audience were all crammed in, sitting on the stairs and on the floor, and the cafe (serving delicious vegan dinners) even ran out of food! Afterwards we all partied with whiskey sours until the venue friendly-ly kicked us out.
On the programme, we also curated 'DRIVE' by Francesca Clements, Cinthya Oyervides and Jelle Verstraten. After our performance, the fantastic Auxpulse provided a party, DJ-ing on Nintendo DSs and EWI.
