I agree with you and I hope you don't get hate for speaking out against assholes because they're being stupid. My favourite part about Steven universe is seeing how the style varies depending on who storyboarded.

and yes, it bums me out when I see people trying to discredit such an amazing show, calling them “lazy and unprofessional”. I mean, really? Are we talking about Steven Universe?
Because honestly this show elevated the expectations of kids cartoons in so many stances! Script, Music, Background design, Character design, Color, Timing, and many many others!
It seems that these people find it really easy to make an animation show with the same standards of Steven Universe, and if that’s the case, I fully encourage them to go and make their own animated shows because Steven’s Universe won’t last forever and we’ll need another show to cope with this fact.
