I don’t know you guys, but sometimes I get the feeling that the fandom doesn't appreciate Steven Universe as much as it deserves?

I know “how much it deserves ” is one hell of a subjective concept because those values are mostly absolute so they’re not exactly measurable...

I thought it was bound to be like this because the show itself has themes that are sadly too ahead of our current group mentality to be fully appreciated right now. So as it is now, you can find much more resistance to it and its messages than (hopefully) in a few years.

but still...Don’t you have that feeling in your gut? Saying that, yes, the show can have their bumps, but, why so harsh?

I love Bisnet. I love their dynamic. When Bismuth said “ you’re two to talk”, garnet gives her a punch and Bismuth completes with “your RUBY is showing”. I DIED. I LOVED THAT. THEY STOLE MY HEART SO FRIGN FAST. 

first time drawing bismuth as a gem tho! I need to finish that cop au ASAP

There are some things I always wanted to know Garnet and Rose’s past. Like, how Garnet received the news about Rose’s decision, how she reacted, what that meant to her, and how the whole process of becoming the new leader of the crystal gems impact Garnet. So many unanswered questions, I’m dying to know.
