it was a promise his mind doubted but his heart believed with all its might. this castle had done a lot to him, he was sure of it. sora’s entire life was one big haze; he remembered his childhood, meeting donald and goofy, kingdom hearts…… but all of it paled in comparison to the image of naminé, vivid and clear behind the lids of his eyes.
she was everywhere…… no, she was everything sora had, now and always, but the ache in his stomach led him to believe that none of it held any truth.

a lie, obviously, but there was sadly no medicine that could help him get rid of what plagued him so, for it would never go away. his “ friend ” and a curse, hierophant green, would always be there and made him feel so alone and misunderstood at school at times, he temporarily almost shut down in front of the caring female student. even his reply, much unlike him, was almost a shout.
he didn’t call him forth, but hierophant appeared next to him, as if to be there to comfort the teenager. despite not having the ability to speak, he could feel what they meant by being there.
