Okay, since someone asked me about the witch reincarnation theory, I decided to talk about it in a post. I'm not the one who came up with the theory, but I've been sifting through the evidence and have decided that it's a theory that I buy into.
The short version is this; Every time a witch has a child, they die and their soul enters their child's body. If this theory is true, it would mean that all of the witches that we've gotten to know through the painting flashbacks during the hopeless cycle update were a handful of Gwylan's ancestors/past lives.
The evidence for Mother/Father Goose and by extension, their child having been two of Gwylan's past lives/ancestors is the following:
• They all have brown hair, green eyes, and freckles.
• They all have an association with roses.
• Both Gwylan and Summer (Mother/Father Goose's kid, idk if that's their actual name though) are fox people.
• I'm pretty sure that all three of them have the same magic womb tattoo.
• While sulking at the bar, Gwylan uses the same, "That seat was taken." Line on us as Summer used on Winter.
• This theory would explain Gwylan's sore feelings surrounding Winter, implied when the player talks to Gwylan about doing medieval torture device demonstrations at the museum for Winter while wearing scraps of fabric that Winter apparently bought from their shop.
• It would explain why Gwylan owns the pocket watch that Winter gave Mother Goose to remember them by.
And the evidence for Nona having also been one of Gwylan's past lives is:
• It would explain why Gwylan owns, and is protective over Fayne's chainmail tunic.
• It would explain Gwylan's comment about tasting without a tongue that they make when you give them their favorite food, plum pudding.
• Witches reincarnating themselves through giving birth to their own new bodies would give us an explanation for why Nona wanted a 'new body', a baby, from Fayne in one of the bleeding ward's endings.
If this theory is indeed true, then Gwylan's eventual pregnancy content may double as their dismissal event, as their body will die and their soul will live on inside of the child that you have together.
Hopefully I didn't miss anything, I'll come back and update this post if I find anything else.
Manifesting Pregnancy content, manifesting pregnancy content.
I NEED TO GET THEM ALL PREGNANT, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM PREGNANT WITH ME.
PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT.

A weary (person)’s voice greets you.
"Forgive me, sister, for I have sinned. One of my students has assisted me with a particular... demonstration, at the museum.
While historically accurate, I find myself having unprofessional thoughts about her afterwards."
He pauses for a moment.
If Winter’s love is 30+:
"I'm afraid that uncouth feelings about this student have begun to surface as well.
Otherwise:
"These thoughts often turn sinful, as well. Perhaps as a result of the physical nature of the demonstrations.
Please, forgive me."

I love roses, only red and white ones, though. I hate pink roses...
