Just had ideas come to me for like. Lalaloopsy land sewing canon AU geography and culture..? Things of that sort idk the words but just trust me
I may have shared some of this info before so bare with me!
-Lalaloopsyland is a town that got the miracle of being right in the middle of several ecosystems. Town square is right in the middle of it all and paths branch out to the different areas. Most of it IS general fieldland and the average environmental build (??) for a neighborhood but take a right and you might end up in the middle of a snow storm or in the sandy beaches
-There’s a candy themed town pretty far off from Lalaloopsyland and past the “neighboring” kingdoms, most of the Candy/sweets themed dolls have origins in this land, wether they moved from there to Lalaloopsyland or their ancestors came from those parts
-The candy themed land is also closely linked to the lala-oopsie land just like regular Lalaloopsyland is. As far as we know no one from the candy land has stumbled upon the door to the oopsies but then again, maybe they’re just keeping secrets
-Far off from Lalaloopsyland are several kingdoms! The Red Heart-Sparkles Kingdom, Handsome Kingdom (😔), Stillwaiting Kingdom, Luxe Kingdom, Ice Crystals Kingdom and the Honey Kingdom. Yes they all share the surnames of the families in rule lol
-Red Heart and Sparkles used to be separate kingdoms that shared territory. With the marriage of Emporin Red Heart and Crescent Sparkles, the kingdoms merged. The Red Heart-Sparkles Kingdom is currently the largest kingdom thanks to this reason
-RHS is traditionally medieval. There’s hardly any color outside of beige when it comes to the kingdom villages, however, the gardens are glorious. The territory grows the best roses. Now that Queenie is in rule, she’s added some more red to the villages (literally, she gave them some paint and let them go ham) but other than that it stays traditional
-The Stillwaiting and Handsome kingdoms are also in close territory. They had some pretty decent relations with each other, bordering on going sour with one wrong move, but ultimately grew closer as the royal heirs from each kingdom (Lovedie/Lady, Charming/Prince and Cinder respectively) became pals and so their parents did, too. Though both rulers want to further improve relations by trying to get Charming and Lovedie to date 🙄
-The Honey kingdom is close to the candy land and mostly holds insect like dolls. The land bares the best produce (mainly honey of course) and flowers
-Luxe Kingdom is located in the far off desert
-The Ice Crystals kingdom is in a winter wonderland of sorts
-The main type of dolls are your average plushies/felt. Basically all stores sell fabrics, patches and yarn for health reasons- not fully free but it’s like 2 cents-
-Most dolls know how to sew for health reasons as well, it’s a main skill
-Porcelain dolls have glue (fancy kinds) on hand. Despite being fragile many don’t bother with standard super glues from stores
-Marionettes/Wooden dolls try to keep wood glue on hand, but it’s honestly rather hard to properly repair damages without sanding... which is... very painful
-Dolls that are made of felt come in all shapes, sizes and materials. Royalty are made of softer fabric and the stitching keeping them together is more decorative, so they’re easily torn. Ember’s family are sewn from fire proof material. The mermaids are waterproof fabrics. So on so forth
-Life is created via Sewing/Wood Carving/Porcelain Making/etc etc! You just gotta make organs too and stuff the baby base full of them.
-Main weapons of sorts are Comically Large Needles. Swords are comically large needles.
-and yeah. That’s it B)
