This is my second attempt at a BJD doll. There are no 1/16 scale dolls for sale so I decided to try to 3D print one.

It was a jumble of limbs and everything needed to get sanded and primed. Once that was done I spend a good portion of my day looking for tutorials on how to string all the parts together and make eyes.

At times I wondered what I was doing in Biology class since what looked right at first try at to be redone. The eyes were a nightmare, but I think I finally solved that problem too. After placing the eyes I put the first coat of flesh color on and the doll is now hanging in the studio to dry.

I will post new photos of the progress tomorrow. The day ended on a good note with lots of things accomplished !

if you give me an astarion...i'm gonna need a wyll trying to style his hair without the necessary tools was really...interesting 😂 but we got there. he still needs some details here and there, but i'm having fun while deliriously fighting off this dumb lil chest cold. ❤️

Some of these friends got their limbs and hair already, some still need work, and all of them still need clothes. 😬 But we're getting there! Each will get their own photoshoot once they've been fussed up, and a shop update will be scheduled once they're all finished. ❤️ I have had SUCH a good time with these little ones, and I can't wait to keep improving!!
