Crowding Jake up against the counter, Bradley presses his front all along Jake's back. He rests his chin on his shoulder and wraps his arms around his middle. Jake leans his head back, looking at Bradley out of the corner of his eye. Bradley turns his head to give Jake a sideways sort of kiss. When they part, Jake is smiling.

"Marry me," Jake says easily.

Bradley feels his answering smile spreading over his face. "No."

"No?" Jake asks.

"No," Bradley repeats.

"Marry me," Jake says, laughing.

"I can't," Bradley tells him. "I gotta go shovel the driveway."

Jake's laugh is louder this time. "You won't marry me 'cause you wanna shovel?"

So my bday is next week and I have this dumb tradition where I write smut for myself every year bc why not. That said, it was REALLY hard to pin down which of the three mettatenna ideas I wanted to write first lol. But anyhow, this is a thing I'm writing and... may or may not have it done by my bday. Trying to juggle this with Noises Off, which isn't as troublesome as it sounds bc at least I have a spicy outlet while sticking to the slow burn that is Noises Off (I promise that ust is getting extremely very resolved but also OMG HHNNNNGG).
