merlin trips over Arthur's foot trying to stand him up and out of bed to get him ready and arthur immediately stops pretending to be tired (because he was already up before sunrise and wanted to see what Merlin does in the morning before he wakes him) and rushes to grab merlin by the back of his coat and yanks him into his arms in a tight enough grip to keep them both steady and then it's just intense prolonged eye contact because both of them are too dumb and the first word that either of them will say is definitely some type of made-up synonym of the phrase "you idiot"
