it was me :3 i’ve read When You Are Engulfed in Flames, but that’s all so far. i want to read more, i just haven’t been able to get my hands on any. i only recently realized how much i actually like memoirists and essayists etc.

creative nonfiction is like what David Sedaris does, or memoirists. it’s telling stories that are true, but telling them in a way that’s unique to you.

yeah same. i like the idea of writing poetry but i’m not sure if i could let others read? then again i have trouble letting others read anything i write… and i also want to write creative nonfiction. so. oops.

what exactly is the niche of creative nonfiction? i think i love it but i'm not sure. is into the wild a work of creative nf?

that's what i like most about art, i think. it can be as much an exploration for your own benefit as it can be a living or a bragging right, etc. it's very versatile

contrived, self-indulgent poetry is the only poetry i ever write
