Peeps may have noticed I've been tinkering with my dolls a lot lately as a way to reconnect with what's good in life. (Conan! What is good in life? Play with dolls, see them unstrung before you, and hear the lamentation of your wallet.)

I didn't get around to posting a box opening of my Dollzone Renata but went straight to switching out the head! Here's my Stars Are Falling Aki head on the Renata body, to be airbrushed to match. Threw the five-piece outfit together from with a bunch of random items and unexpectedly love the look 😍💕

Plans for my Dollzone Renata @__@ Sakura girl to go with my Calla lily Anson, omg...

I’ve ordered an extra pair of twig arms for her which I was planning on modding onto her back, or underneath her actual arms. Not sure how clothing will affect those plans. But her arms will be dyed brown and I imagine I’ll string the resin sakura beads onto fishing line or something. Permanent affixing of millions of tiny flowers sounds like it’d be a breakage nightmare. Maybe hot glue :p

Also toying with the idea of giving this sakura concept to my Mian Mian (shown above in the last picture) along with the extra twig arms, but not sure yet. Her flower ears and faceup already fit the concept so well...

Second box opening of the day! My Dollzone Renata vine arms, in tan skin.

While this orangey-tan works ok for my purposes (for my orange pumpkin head doll) it might not work for other people. This tan is pretty goddamn orange, let me say.

I’ll take some better pics at home in comparison to other tans I have, and my orange Withdoll Pumpkin head.

Totally glad I bought these though! They are really cute, and come in 4 parts per arm. DZ even included all the hardware needed to string them together. (thank goodness!)
