Birding Outing @ Dombeya Game Reserve Eswatini
Birding Eswatini – Vogelbeobachtungen im Königreich Eswatini im Dombeya Game Reserve Die Natural History Society of Eswatini veranstaltet über das Jahr verteilt verschiedene organisierte Buschwalks zur Vogelbeobachtung. Treffpunkt ist in der Regel Sonntag morgens, nach Sonnenaufgang – an unterschiedlichen ausgewählten Orten im Land, die sich besonders zur Vogelbeobachtung eignen. The Birding Event at Dombeya Game Reserve will be on SUNDAY, 27 September 2020. We will be meeting at the entrance gate at 6:00 am. We’ll have tea, coffee and biscuits before heading for an early morning walk at 7.00am till 9.00am. We’ll then do a combination of walking and driving, exploring some of the bushveld trails and game drive roads, before heading back to the campsite by lunch time 12 noon. We’ll have a bring-and-braai at the campsite, if you’d like to join and bring something to put on the fire- please also bring a camping chair. If you’d like to relax and spend the weekend at Dombeya, there are 2 options for accommodation: Dombeya has 2 beautiful bushveld lodges, each sleeping up to 4 adults (2 bedrooms per lodge, with en-suite bathrooms). Each self-catering lodge has a private pool and braai, and the lodges are within a few minute walk of the campsite, which is our starting point for the morning. The kitchens are well-equipped- including tea/coffee/firewood. Prices are E800 pp p night. Dombeya also has a rustic campsite, which is tucked in the bush. Read the full article
