The Dome's Mystery: Forbidden Inscriptions
In the very center of the city stood a giant dome, its smooth, glossy and sometimes a little shabby surface reflecting the clouds and the skyline, creating the illusion of a liquid sky. This architectural marvel was shrouded in legend.
Under the dome, it was rumored to hide secrets: an ancient order guarding powerful artifacts, or perhaps a portal leading to another realm. However, its inhabitants had long forgotten why it had been created and were strictly forbidden to even approach it, much less touch its mysterious surface.
But today was different. A mysterious inscription appeared on the dome: PLPTN DCKHD. It was huge, the one who painted it had done a great job.
Two high-ranking officials stood nearby, studying the inscription. Their names were Mikael and the other was Howard. Their dialog unfolded between them. Mikael was as stern as ever, while Howard was surprisingly casual and slightly irreverent.
Mikael - This is unacceptable. We must erase this inscription immediately.” What could these letters possibly mean? Such disrespect for our grand structure!”
Howard - Looks like someone is allergic to vowels. But honestly, who is Palpatine and why is he ....
Mikael, abruptly cut off - It doesn't matter! Rules are rules. Do we know the guilty party?
Howard - Yes, they're over there, awaiting punishment. The most severe. Erase their work.
Mikael - The punishment may seem harsh, but order is order and we must maintain it
Howard - Funny how they have an official pass and ID.
Mikael - Impossible! Who gave those fools the authorization? Only the Council of Twelve has such authority
Howard - Maybe someone on the 13th floor? Any idea what they're planning up there?
Mikael - Current status: red line extends from left to center, lightning bolt from top right, green line starts on the right. Obviously this is a violation because the ordinance expressly prohibits any activity on, in, under or over the dome.
Howard - Well, technically drawing “on” the dome is not mentioned.
Mikael - Do we really need another council meeting to clear this up?
Howard - We've rewritten enough rules lately. Perhaps we should tone it down a bit? Or is everyone like this to look under the dome?
Mikael - True, at least the bill prohibiting further discussion of bills was defeated. Otherwise we'd be helping these troublemakers.
Howard - But seriously, what's inside the dome anyway? Maybe it's time for a security check?
Mikael - The inside of the dome remains closed. However, those who attempt to go inside are experiencing unusual shifts in consciousness. Do you remember what happened last time?
Howard - Weird stuff, huh? I've always wondered what's inside. Maybe the answer to everything, or maybe a secret that no one should see. Last time, the man who now leads council 13 came out of there
Mikael - That's why caution must be exercised. Perhaps the investigation should be handled by a special team. But first, we must talk to the authors of this inscription. They may have a clue.
Howard - I couldn't agree more. Let's talk to these artists who have difficulty with vowels - maybe they can tell us what prompted them to do this prank.
