Some knifedog musings and notes! kinda figuring out precisely how I want cold climate breeds to look, and going on some tangents about the origin of their blade.

Also, they might receive 'Kneef' as their new primary common name! Someone (their name might be credited here later, but I have not asked yet, and only know them through discord - and I think it's a little rude to share someone's discord without permission!) on a discord server I'm in suggested it, and it's been stuck in my head ever since! I think it works quite well, and sounds pretty cute and silly too!

rough concept of a wacky animal that's actually existed scrawled in my margins for a lot longer than you might think

I plan to design a bunch of different breeds of them, to do different jobs as domesticated animals.

I do think an important design rule is that there are no fighting/war breeds of knifedog; they are tools first, and a means of defense second. Any that are inspired by weapons will be show breeds, bred mostly to look cool rather than for function

also yes I am 100% considering putting it in minecraft if I am successful in learning to make mods
