While Ferrum complains about metal bands and Papaya just smiles and nods. They're best friends, because Ferrum is willing to hang out with Papaya, and Papaya is the only one willing to put up with Ferrum's bullshit.

Artist is of course linked, but as a backup it is Domochevsky who also runs his own webcomic website at Wildwestscifi. Ferrum belongs to a friend of mine, and this is set in an AU where fictional robots are real humans, explaining the inexplicably human EDI and transformer posters.
