Mungojerrie and Tumblebrutus

A lot of my HCs for Jerrie are the same as my HCs for Teazer, so they're just copy and pasted. Apologies in advanced if I forgot to switch any names around, and for how few of HCs I have for Tumble! I love him, but I just don't have as many HCs.

Mungojerrie

Jerrie and Teazer have the same human home in Victoria grove. They were Christmas presents for the kids in their family, however they were quickly forgotten about. The family still spoils them, but the family doesn’t pay nearly enough attention to them. 

Before they were taken in, they were strays just grabbed off the streets because they looked expensive. Nobody knows if they’re actually purebred, but they act like it anyways. 

Teazer loves collars and jewelry, but Jerrie hates them. He only wears his at home, because he knows they’ll notice if he’s not wearing it, and if they notice him they’ll probably ruin whatever secret chaos mission he’s on.

He hides all of his stolen goods in a small striped pillowcase that matches his sister’s. 

He is a way better thief than her, because he’s much quieter when he needs to be. He’s also less impulsive.

On the other hand, he always says the wrong thing and offends others easily. He can accidentally make enemies quickly, which is why Teazer does most of the talking. 

While Teazer prefers activities like parkour when they aren’t stealing, Jerrie would rather cut to the chase and just break everything. 

All cats know to be wary around him when he has his signature shit-eating grin on his face. That’s when they know he’s done something, like set a prank or broken something or stolen something. 

He develops so many crushes so fast, it's hard to tell if any of them are legitimate. Despite him constantly falling for everyone, he will never settle and take a mate.

They became wrapped up in Macavity’s nonsense when he saved them from some neighboring Pollicles they had upset. After that, they owed him their lives. They worked as messengers and thieves for a while, often the middle man for many exchanges. 

When Demeter and Bombalurina begged Munkustrap to let the crime duo join the tribe, Munkustrap and Alonzo went out in search of them. All six agreed it would be dangerous to let them in immediately, so they are allowed to stay whenever they want and join the tribe for the ball, but they can’t be permanent members until they officially leave Macavity. They try to help the tribe in return by acting as spies against Macavity, warning the tribe when he’s up to something.

Skimble and Jenny take care of them when they’re in the junkyard. Tugger would also die for them. However, many of the older cats don’t trust them still.

Jerrie and Teazer treat a younger queen Domoria (my oc) as a sort of younger sister to them.

Jerrie has better balance than Teazer.

Tumblebrutus

He is the son of Jenny and Skimble, and his brothers are Pouncival, Plato, and George.

He’s his mother’s favorite.

Plato and George are both older than him, but he was born before Pouncival. Though he’s only a couple minutes older, he takes it very seriously and always tries to act grown up like Plato.

He’s known well throughout all of the junkyard for constantly trying to do tricks. He’s been injured the most out of any cat, because he’s not always successful. 9 out of 10 times a crash is heard in the junkyard, it’s probably just him failing at something.

Out of all the kittens, he’s the one closest to the crime twins. They’ve taught him plenty of tricks before.

I don’t normally include ocs in these, but I do ship him with @voltsdolt ‘s oc Tolstoy (when they’re older of course).

Whenever the kittens are causing mischief, he’s the responsible one. But he’ll never stop them, he just makes sure no one will die.

Bombalurina, Macavity, Rumpleteazer

I tried to keep these brief, but they all ended up a bit long.

Macavity:

He is Old Deuteronomy’s eldest son. Munkustrap is the second oldest, and Rum Tum Tugger is the youngest. As the oldest, he was training to be the next Jellicle leader.

As he grew older, he found he wanted to use magic as a sort of weapon to defend the tribe. However, Old D insisted magic was only to be used as the Heaviside layer intended; magic was only to be used in defense or for non-harmful means.

He started manipulating and training large and dangerous alley rats to work for him and even communicating in private with stray cats. He also worked to develop his powers in secret, almost burning down the junkyard a couple times.

Feeling isolated and trapped, as he was forbidden from working on his magic, he became irritable and restless. He started fights and began attacking other Jellicles with his magic. Eventually, he was exiled. He only managed to convince Demeter and Bombalurina to come with him.

Outside of Munkustrap, Macavity is the only other cat who knows Old D is on his last life (assuming that cats have nine lives and can only be reborn eight times).

Macavity’s magic isn’t as strong as everyone believes it to be. He can manipulate fire very well, throw his voice, create several apparitions of himself, disguise himself as someone else, control other beings like a puppeteer, conjure and teleport, and seemingly fit where no one should be able to. However, he is extremely smart. Many of his tricks revolve around intelligence and understanding how to use human items (like power cords) to wreak havoc. He also relies mostly on brute strength in a fight, as his powers aren’t great for close combat fights.

Macavity has the ability to change his appearance, just like Mistoffelees. His normal appearance is bright, dusty ginger with darker tabby stripes, but he can change it to be mostly black when he feels like it. Think of it as comparing 1998 to 2016.

He had a brief infatuation with Demeter, but only continued it to keep her and Bomba from leaving him. Jemima is his daughter, but Jemima doesn’t know. Demeter escaped before she was born.

Since Mistoffelees was not born directly into the tribe, Macavity has tried to convince Mistoffelees to join him on several occasions. However, Bustopher Jones protected Mistoffelees and Victoria from him by bringing them to the tribe for protection. Otherwise, Mistoffelees might have actually joined him when he was younger and more naïve. 

Bombalurina:

Her sister is Demeter and her mother is Grizabella. Grizabella abandoned them when they were kittens and unable to defend themselves. 

Rum Tum Tugger was her best friend when they were kittens, but through being his friend, she also grew close to his brother Macaity.

When Macavity left, he recognized how vulnerable and defenseless Bombalurina and Demeter were. He tricked hem into thinking they’d have safety and resources with him. The sisters worked for him for several years after that.

Rumpleteazer and Mungojerrie joined a little bit after the sisters, and were younger than them. Quickly, the two sisters realized the twins had no one else and decided to treat them like younger siblings. 

After Bombalurina realizes Demeter is pregnant, she demands they leave and escapes with Demeter back to the tribe.

When they are accepted back, they quickly try to get Jerrie and Teazer allowed in as well. 

Once back, Bombalurina realizes she has feelings for Tugger. However, Tugger is totally taken with Mistoffelees. Initially, Bomba is jealous, but she gets over it eventually. 

She is fiercely protective of her sister. Their dens are adjacent to each other, and she even moves to a den closer to Demeter when Demeter moves in with Munkustrap.

Bomba is scared of having kittens of her own because she doesn’t want to end up being a bad mother like her mother was to her. That’s partly why she fell for someone irresponsible and unobtainable, because if she was with Tugger she wouldn’t have to worry about having too serious of a relationship. Despite all of her worries, she’s actually great with kittens without even realizing it. 

As much as Tugger likes to think he’s the favorite relative, Jemima secretly loves Bombalurina more.

Her closest friends are Tugger and the crime twins, as well as her family, but she’s also surprisingly close with Jenny, Jelly, and Coricopat. Her friendship with the two older queens comes from Bomablruina being forced to mature faster, but her friendship with Coricopat came as a surprise to everyone. 

Rumpleteazer:

Rumpleteazer’s favorite collar is her pearl necklace, which is actually just a bracelet. However, she has many other stolen bracelets she wears. Some of her other’s are a solid gold bracelet, a ruby bracelet, and a diamond bracelet for special occasions. However, she wasn’t given dinner the night she stole that one.

She hides all of her stolen jewelry in a striped pillowcase (also stolen). This is the same pillowcase she and Jerrie use as sacks during the ball. 

Her favorite chaotic activity is parkour, or anything that will get her from point A to point B in the most fun way possible. Her methods of choice are sliding down the banister, swinging from curtains, and using people and pillows as launch pads. 

Mungojerrie is actually a better thief than her, because she cannot keep a poker face or stay quiet during a heist. She often is the distraction to divert attention, causing a mess somewhere else. 

If they ever need to talk their way out of a situation, she does the talking. Mungojerrie always says the wrong thing.

🖊 Domoria, my little darling! Maybe a couple of fun facts about her?

Domoria fun facts:

Her breed is unknown, but she resembles an American shorthair.

Her owners have a YouTube channel dedicated to her mischief and mishaps. Currently it only has one video with 1.5M views. It’s a video of her attempting to steal an apple pie that’s been placed out of reach on top of the fridge. In her attempts to reach the pie, she manages to tear a cupboard door down and send every plate inside crashing into the floor. This scares her and she falls of the fridge.

She doesn’t just have a pink bow! She has several pink bows, all the same shade, and one fancy pink bow with sparkles. Other articles of clothing she saves for special occasions are a pink tutu, rainbow feather boa, fake pearl necklace, and fuzzy yellow socks.

She doesn’t get along with Tugger. She thinks he interrupts people too much and he thinks she talks to much. She doesn’t dislike him, she just prefers to spend time elsewhere.

She has managed to befriend several Pollicles.

Domoria is not a sona, however her relationships with different canon characters resembles my very first impressions of them. For example, she’s frequently annoyed with Tugger, adores Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer because she met them before the others, and inspired by Mistoffelees and Jennyanydots (especially when it comes to dance).

She’s aware of how annoying she can be. It’s a major insecurity of hers, but she just talks more when she feels insecure or upset, which only makes the problem worse.

Munkustrap named her an “honorary” Jellicle Protector once just to make her happy. She has absolutely no power or responsibilities, just a meaningless title, and it means the world to her.

Can you tell us more about Domoria and Damus? I was just looking at your old art of them, and they're adorable--I'd love to know more!

Oh my goodness, this is the first time anyone has asked me something like this! Of course ^-^

I created Domoria in late September 2019, and she was one of the first ocs created in a discord I’m in. 

General: 

Domoria is probably the most hyperactive, optimistic queen in the junkyard, to a point where she can be a tad exhausting if you aren’t used to her. She can be a lot to handle, is mistake prone, and definitely isn't the brightest bulb in the box. However, she’s harmless. She always means well, and believes that everyone is her friend! And if they aren't her friend, they are just a friend she hasn't made yet.

Domoria absolutely hates negative emotions more than anything else. She would much rather fake a smile until it’s real if she ever has a negative emotion. Therefore, she ends up bottling stuff up frequently. But everyone knows her as just the most flighty, chatty, naïve, and most importantly, positive queen in the tribe.

Domoria has a human home that’s full of children of all ages. She’s very used to being covered in glitter or paint, being picked up, and being dressed up (as seen by her signature pink bow). Her childish manner likely comes from being surrounded by children so often.

Her dance style of choice is ballet, but since she’s not a very slow or methodical person, her ballet has a lot of energy and flair to it. “Ballet, but make it jazz”. She also loves to swing dance. She’s not very good at acrobatics or tap (it confuses her, but she likes the sound the shoes make).

She’s actually pretty similar to Etcetera, who I wasn’t too familiar with when I created her. However, they are not one in the same. An example being that Domoria may be lively, but she’s definitely not as loud, and doesn’t just hang our with a specific group or squad. Domoria is also not a kitten, but a young adult.

Relationships:

Domoria has a twin brother named Ruzzilo. Their backstory is rather lengthy, so I’ll make a separate post about that at another time. Ruzzilo and Domoria are currently unaware that the other exists, because they were separated at a young age. While Domoria is now with the tribe, Ruzzilo is a henchman for Macavity.

She also has a rather complicated relationship with a tom named Vitsaro ( @fandomsandmore394‘s oc). They are both major crushing on each other, but since Vitsaro was getting over a crush on Palette ( @jelliclegifs ) when they first began curhsing, Domoria was hesitant to really make it official. But honestly, it’s only a matter of time.

Her best friend is Tolstoy ( @voltsdolt ), and he just about keeps her sane. Seriously, if Domoria only has one braincell, Tolstoy holds on to for safe keeping it so she doesn’t lose it. 

Her closest canon cats friends include Jennyanydots, who’s like a mother figure to her. She’s also extremely close with the crime twins, who treat her like a younger sister and teach her all their pranks.

Damus is another one of Domoria’s very close friends. They have known each other for ages, way back when Damus was extremely shy. Domoria thought he was just so funny, what with never wanting to talk to people (especially queens), so she would hang around him to encourage him to break out of his shell. Over time, her efforts proved worthwhile as Damus became more popular and confident. However, he still hasn’t forgotten about Domoria with his newfound popularity. They both love to swing dance as well. 

That’s basically the rundown on my main oc Domoria! I love her to death and will definitely post about her more in the future! I also have three more ocs (Ruzzilo, Beatrice, and Theophilus).
