I've been looking at people's Jellicle OCs and just found yours--the art is so cute! Can you tell us more about Obiilus? :D

When Obiilus is spending time in the junkyard, she can be found just lazing around, observing other cats and trying to look cooler than she actually is.She loves lying in the sun and in the moonlight, but she won’t be seen outside when it’s raining.

On the outside Obiilus can seem a bit intimidating at first. She’s fairly quiet, and she tries to appear cool and graceful. When you get to know her though, she’s a drama queen. She’s very precise about her appearance, and she has an expensive taste. Obiilus is her owner’s little princess and the owner keeps spoiling her with items of the best quality, such as cat beds and new collars. She’s not as shallow as she may seem though, she’s aware of how privileged she is.

Obiilus is actually kind-hearted and a good listener. She gets along with talkative cats who keep the conversation going without Obiilus having to add much anything to it. At times she does appreciate the quiet though, so she loves the company of cats who can hang out with her in quiet without it being uncomfortable. Seeing others sad upsets her so she tries her best to cheer them up.

Usually Obiilus tries to avoid conflict but she is not afraid to call someone else out if they are being offensive. She can be quite sassy, and she has her way with words. It’s her only advantage in a fight though, for she’s small and will absolutely get her ass kicked in an actual physical fight. That’s one of her flaws; picking a fight with someone bigger than her.

Obiilus has small foreseeing powers, though she isn’t fully aware of them herself. She sometimes might jump in surprise seconds before a loud noise, the cause of her surprise, occurs, therefore confusing those around her.

Obiilus’ design is inspired by the Russian blue breed with white spots added to it. Her ears are roundish. Her most commonly worn collar is light pink with a moon tag hanging from it. She has dark brown eyes.

The name Obiilus comes from the word obelus. Since she has white spots on her fur, I thought, hey there’s a symbol that has spots 😂 So I took the word, added a Finnish twist to it (since I am a Finn haha) and so it became Obiilus!
