A/N: gah! Thank you for this. I was thinking about starting a purely marvel sideblog and this sealed the deal. Look forward to that soon. In the meantime I wrote this for Natasha and I really hope you enjoy! I will definitely be writing more marvel! 💕 (this kinda took a mind of its own and I thought it was longer while I was writing)

This was not the plan. You thought to yourself, taking in the situation.

You were supposed to just be the assistant to the so-called “bad guys” of the story, but complex feelings got involved and now you found yourself in an abandoned closet with your enemy’s wrist pressed to your neck. God forbid any of the Avengers or, worse, the men you worked for barge in at this second. It was a compromising position to say the least. The tension was palpable and the way she leaned in to whisper while borderline choking wouldn’t look good on you from either side of the conflict.

“Tell me. Why do you think I’ve got to have you all to myself during this heated engagement?”

Her mouth was less than an inch from your earlobe now. She pulled her arm away and backed her body to the far wall of the closet to examine your response. You allowed yourself a few hard intakes of air before going completely silent, opting to stare at the floor.

“What’s wrong?” She said smoothly, as sultry as ever.

“You’re shy now? You weren’t when you were giving me glances from your desk when I’d come for meetings.” You still continued your silence as if it were a vow. You looked up at her, a begging gleam in your eyes.

“We don’t have all day. Kitten.” Something in her voice changed. Somehow it became more appealing to your ears and blush creeped onto your cheeks. She stepped towards you once again. This time however she kept a bit of distance. Her presence was teasing.

“Miss. Romanoff.” Shallow breathes made your voice shake as you uttered her name. She moved in closer finally touching you with her palm resting on your neck.

“Shh. You know that’s not what you call me.” Her hand cupped your face as she pressed a tender kiss to your lips. You kissed back for just a moment and she was back in her position in front of you. No contact, no anything.

“I told you we don’t have the time now.”
