I have a few problems with the sound and camera production on Double or Nothing 2025 (and nothing else, it's a master work) mostly frustrations on camera angles or not using the overhead to show some of the best moves I know were way cooler in person, but I get a lot of the minor crowd manipulation to mostly make the crowd chants sound more evenly balanced than they were in places.
But I want to document two chants that got muted I think really added to my experience as a magical time that didn't come through at all rewatching today with my partner:
During the FTR tag match after the second or so time Tony Shiavone was being harassed and Nigel was thrown to the ground and being beaten in front of him and he got to his feet there was a loud, growing, and rather sustained chant of 'Fuck 'em up, Tony, Fuck 'em up!' I don't know if they wanted to keep focus on Danny, didn't want to play into it since it wasn't the intended outcome, or what, but the crowd was fully invested.
But, without a doubt the best chant of the night, one that was absolutely magical and I am honestly rather pissed is lost to Excalibur talking and bad audio, that you can BARELY hear if you strain on Triller at least, is during the final shootout standoff between Hangman and Ospreay.
