[Excalibur voice] It's pride month! You know what that means!
Best followup I could have possibly asked for. No way I'm letting it stay in the tags.

Two divas living their best lives right now
biker babes.....
it sticks in my head because it was right as I started watching AEW but remember when RUSH was the first person MJF fought when he came back in 2024? And that run turned into the all-american hero, all culminating in MJF vs Will at All-In? I'll be curious if Hechicero gets a shot to run it back too.
AEW Double or Nothing (2026) – Social Media Exclusive
Tony Khan on Women's Wrestling in ROH
Update for the 'Tony Khan & Women's Wrestling' Crowd, he had a question in the post-DoN scrum that immediately jumped out because he went from full media mode answering bad questions in bland run-arounds to so excited he talked for 4 minutes straight and broke his kayfabe character and couldn't stop grinning after:
Interviewer:
Could you talk a little bit about how you're looking onscreen to differentiate the product with Ring Of Honor and AEW?
Tony Khan:
Absolutely, thank you for asking. So I think if you watch the Ring of Honor TV pretty often there are some elements that are quite different. [. . .] Now, in Ring of Honor, I believe it is a place where not only we have a lot of the best veteran wrestlers, but a lot of really impressive young wrestlers, including a lot of young women. And there are a LOT of women's matches in ROH and a lot of focus on developing women's wrestling, and I also don't have the same pressures of uh... [Chooses Words Carefully] Uh... TV Time, Commercial Breaks, and all these things and it's a great place to, to bring people in. I also think there's a focus on Pure Wrestling. On the last Pay-Per-View three of the last matches were Pure Matches, and I thought it was interesting because I thought that was very different than what you would see on an AEW Pay-Per-View, to have the Men's Championship, the Women's Championship, and also a match to establish a top contender as well. So, the focus on Pure Wrestling, often I'd say the Ring of Honor TV Shows put a very large emphasis on women's wrestling, and also... no commercials? And a very different formatting in the show. I try to make it a balance between the wrestlers in ROH now but also having the classic ROH wrestlers from before I owned the company and call back to those. [. . .] So; trying to utilize some of the history of ROH, trying to mix the veterans with the young wrestlers, a lot of pure wrestling, and an emphasis on a lot of the young wrestlers and their development and also... trying to put the pedal to the medal and put on as much women's wrestling as I can on that show. Thank you for asking.
What Some People in the Tags Heard:
'Women's Wrestling is second-tier, developmental at best. Give it 30-second bullshit. I hate women's wrestling. Shove that shit on ROH where no one will watch it. Also I hate Ring of Honor.'
What I Heard:
'I bought Ring of Honor as a passion project that is ABSOLUTELY not making money right now, probably breaking even but I'm putting more into it again so who knows. It's half developmental and legacy for the old guard of ROH, but it's also my sanctuary space for vulnerable and underappreciated styles like pure wrestling, llave wrestling, or, unfortunately in America, Women's wrestling. Women's matches on AEW regularly run short or, when they're long are interrupted by commercial breaks more often than any others. When they're not these days we have to find a sponsor like Progressive Insurance for the matches and talk about other matches and feuds while they're happening because a lot of the general audience will be half-watching or leaving and that's bad for our metrics.
Women's matches have to be INSANELY good to get reactions in AEW, which sucks. There's become an unfortunate mentality that Collision and ROH are 'B-Tier' Shows that I've been combatting hard, that they're just Different, because of how I program them. And there's a very specific thought process behind that, and it isn't about who's talented. It's about how we shoot the shows. Collision is almost always shot after AEW, which means that in most towns you have it in you're waiting for the crowd to thin out- so you start with your most generic and popular matches, and by the end of the night you have your most enthusiastic, die-hard and drunk indie wrestling fans. This is why women main event on Collision so much more often and so much less on Dynamite. Because a drunk Collision crowd of hardcore AEW and indie wrestling fans will always pop HARD for a women's match, and make it a success. ROH crowds are always much the same. It's also why I'm emphasizing the lack of commercials and time constraints so much on ROH, no one wants to put a show stuffed with pure wrestling and women's wrestling matches for 30 minutes on primetime TV and advertise on it. It sucks, but this is what is allowing us to do things like the Athena and Billie multi-year storyline which is about to heat up again now that Billie has finished college.'

IDK, it just feels like some of y'all want to be mad that Women's wrestling isn't on TV or mainstream as popular as it should be, and I get it, but this feels counter-productive.
My partner was joking that Jack was giving so much fan service he was going to get his toes out again next and you'll never guess what happened two minutes later-
Kyle Fletcher... I want you! AEW COLLISION | 05.27.26
Wait I'm confused, did the three hour broadcast not happen for some people so they didn't get Collision? I picked up myaew a couple hours late with dinner
