Synopsis: THE SPARKLEY CLEAN FUNERAL SINGERS is a quirky, dysfunctional comedy involving alcoholism, Alzheimers, compulsive gambling, and the country-music-singing sister duo Junie and Lashley Lashley. After lead-singer Lashley Lashley gets drunk and crashes their tour bus into a pet store (sending many a goldfish to an early fish tank heaven), her ever-ambitious back-up-singing sister, Junie, gets them a gig as funeral singers with the hope that this unexpected career move will jump start their currently defunct singing career. In this comedy about two disparate and estranged sisters, funeral songs are tailor-made for the deceased and love hangs on by sheer force of heart and will.
