Headcanon: o clipe para a música Gonna Buy Me a Dog [1a Temporada, Episódio 12, Eu Compus uma Pequena Canção] termina com os rapazes, e não os cachorros levados pela carrocinha, por ser uma intervenção de Kirschner no roteiro. (É altamente provável que isso nunca aconteceu, mas ninguém jamais me convencerá do contrário.) Headcanon: the romp for the song Gonna Buy Me a Dog [S01, E12, I've Got a Little Song For You], ends with the Monkees, instead of the dogs, taken away by the dog catcher (sorry, no pun intended); because messing with the music was not enough for Kirschner - the music producer wanted to try his steel hand on the script too. (It's highly probable that this never happened, but nobody will ever be able to convince me of the contrary.)
