Don Lope de Villalobos y Sangrin from “De cape et de Crocs“ by Jean-Luc Masbou
(4 of 4) “As a child, I used to live in the countryside. Then I had to move to the city. That's where I realized how important my link to nature was, and I tried to find a way to get back to it. I spent my weekends going outside to find vegetation and wildlife, first as a walker, then as a photographer. My first goal with the camera was to document all the little things nature has to offer in my surroundings, but, when I realized how rich it was, I felt I had to share it. Sometimes, I feel like I am not improving anymore and I keep on reproducing the same kind of work. This is very frustrating as anyone’s goal in art is to improve or at least evolve. But when it happens, I just have to take a walk in nature without my camera to feel the urge to take pictures again. It's first and foremost a passion and the final images I share are only one small aspect of it. The most important thing is to keep taking pleasure. And also I always tell myself that the perfect picture is only one shutter click away." —DonLope http://www.deviantart.com/donlope
