Barley Forge’s Don Perfecto Wit on tap at The Kroft in Tustin. A 3 of 4. Yep, this smells like horchata - there are some light cinnamon and vanilla notes in the nose, and there’s a quality to this that reminds you of horchata instantly but I can’t precisely place it. Drinks more like a normal wheat beer with a light wheat presence and relatively subdued spices. After this warms slightly, I’m getting some pretty strong phenol/plastic notes, which are not great. Still, this nails the horchata presence if you can avoid the last bit and consume it quickly.
Podría quedarme en casa cada noche y esperar a don perfecto, pero no voy a echar mi vida a perder por un sueño que no se volvera realidad.
Cruda realidad
