10 days to nanowrimo and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WRITE

i never take it super seriously anyway but i like going in with a general idea of 'yeah this is a cool plot or a character i want to explore' and right now my brain is running off in at least three different directions

one one hand i want to write a bunch of fantasy/myth short stories that may or may not end up as worldbuilding for a dnd campaign setting i've wanted to make

i'd also like to write about pipsqueak, but i don't think there's any way that would make it to 50K

i could do writing for things that actually matter :P or just skip nano and do real work (but what fun is that?)

so....i have no idea right now. i might just try to write 50K worth of short stories because i suck at long novels but i can finish a short.

anyone else doing nanowrimo? know any chat groups for nanoers? i remember there were a couple on AIM but i don't have them listed anymore and i liked the group chats, it was nice to see people encouraging and bouncing ideas off each other :3
