The Root took landed in Houston’s House of Deréon Media Center for a sister to sister night of women’s empowerment, insight and positive energy. Sponsored by Toyota, the event, called Young, Fabulous and Female, saw a crowd of about 250 inspired and motivated by a high-powered panel. The nuggets of wisdom and inspiration unearthed during the event were golden.
