The people who solely base hetalia characters off their governments are fucking weird. Most of the time it's just characters bitter and hostile towards everything or everyone, and then the people who did make excuses for their characters for constantly being jackasses but also cry how no one wants to interact with them. Like Jackie you need to realize not everyone is going to enjoy making all of the character bitter and fight all the damn time.
Half the damn time you pay close enough attention these same people will just project their own personal beliefs onto these characters, which is crazy if their character is homophobic, transphobic and racist. Like how you in a fandom that's wildy gay, and has such a diverse fandom. Please go to another fandom that actually bases their country characters off the governments
