"I'm glad I caught you here today--" Rhys told his older brother as he took his seat by the table at the bar the other owned. "Sorry I haven't been around much, I have had some things I have needed to take care of." Mainly process, but then again it was hard to process something you didn't know for certain was true or not. The results of the test would come in any day now, which would hopefully put his mind to ease, at least somewhat. "How have you been?"

“So —“ Amerie came to a small halt at the entrance to the carnival grounds, looking over at Donny with a small smile. “On a scale from one to a hundred, how much do you hate me right now?” She asked with the faintest of smile. It was still early in the morning, so the crowds to the event weren’t too bad as of yet, but then again he had taken some convincing just to get this far. “I know I promised you a bite to eat for coming with me, so please—“ Gesturing towards the vendors, “Take your pick!”
Briar Rose was slowly starting to back to her feet. She was fighting a depression, which made her isolated from people for a little while, and it was for the best to live in this city, away from the chaos of Los Angeles. On top of all, on maternity leave, giving all the attention to Lars. She left her son with the nanny and went on a date with the guy she matched on a dating APP.
He seemed like a nice guy, and she was a bit nervous because it had been a while since she had dated somebody or gone out for a date. She only went on various dates in her roles, but behind the scenes, she was utterly shy. Nobody could tell she was shy; she knew how to disguise herself well.
As usual, she was very punctual, and she arrived at the table to meet him. ❛ Is it Donny? ❜ She inquired coyly, pulling her long strands behind her ear. ( @donnymorgan )

Amerie had gone to fetch herself a glass of champagne as well as a couple of appetisers when she spotted the familiar face of Donny on the side by the wall at the venue. Making her way over towards him, she gave him a small wave to try catch his attention before she was close enough. “Donny, hi!” She smiled, “How are you? It’s been a minute!”

“How are you feeing so far?” Amerie had asked while stretching her hand out to adjust his bow tie slightly. “There —“ She smiled softly, “Sorry it was looking a little crocked. But now you are all set!” She added slightly encouraging, not sure how he was feeling or if there was still something she could do to help.
