Ever since Amelia arrived back in Fallbrook, she had been excited to catch up with everyone and to help out after the earthquake as much as she could. It was getting later into the day when Amelia finished with work for the day and stepped out of the studio to see how beautiful the sunset was. Sighing peacefully, she let her shoulders drop and let herself relax as she watched the sky turn into orange and yellow colors. It wasn’t until she caught someone’s eye and she smirked to see that it was the sexy Donovan Blackwood approaching. “While the sunset looks amazing, you look even hotter,” she flirted with her smirk widening more on her lips.

Once Aanya finished up with her paperwork for the night, she leaned back in her chair and sighed. She closed her eyes for a moment, letting herself relax. Everyone at the station was working hard to find out who pulled the trigger and started the fire and so on. It was exhausting, but she loved what she did and she wasn’t going to give up. Taking a moment to herself, she heard a familiar voice in the next room and before she knew it, she was standing up and walking over to Donovan. “We’re goin’ out for drinks tonight and you can’t say no,” she said with a smirk.

Jingle Jingle || Donovan & Amara

There was so much to do and so little time. Thankfully she'd gotten the few days she wanted from work off. If Marcus didn't give them to her she just wouldn't have showed up for work, and it was doubtful that he'd fire her. Even if he did she'd be okay. Amara walked up to Donovan's front door after almost dropping the large blue and silver gift box by the cab. The smaller one in multicoloured writing all over it was safe in her other hand. Her indigo dress was warm enough for today's weather. "Donovan" she called out instead of knocking. Surely he'd hear her. When the door opened she grinned widely at her friend. "Hey hun. Here, have some sugar cookies I made" she handed him the smaller gift. "Where's my favourite guy around?" she teased.
