donpe said: “‘Ja ja’ heißt: Leck mich am Arsch!” is mostly not meant serious. Of course: when the situation fits (e.g. you’re in an argument) some people might use it as well, but most of the time it is rather mocking of the somewhat unpolite response “ja ja” :)

I've heard emsig before as well, but I had no idea it was more old fashioned :)
