Flying Lotus featuring Kendrick Lamar's "Never Catch Me"
For fans of J Dilla, Hudson Mohawke, Captain Murphy, Thundercat,Madvillain, Shlohmo, Madlib, Quasimoto, Shabazz Palaces.
The new track and the new video coming off of "You're Dead" is so on point. The reimagining of a funeral of two children is simply beautiful. Never keep up with their spirits, even after death. Can't wait to see him next week... possibly catch him twice!

Lido's "MONEY"
For fans of Trippy Turtle, Cashmere Cat, Lindsay Lowend, Wave Racer, Rustie, Ryan Hemsworth, Hudson Mohawke, Nadus, Flume
This newer wave of Scandinavian electronic artists are on the come up. They take their inspiration from early-90s urban beats and infuse it with a video game generation mentality. They're not in the business of releasing arena festival bangers but instead are at home in the club or in the headphones of their more underground fan base. Lido (also known as Trippy Turtle in some circles) is one of the forefront of this movement. After releasing one of the hottest remixes to date of Disclosure's "Latch" (so hot that Disclosure's label forced SoundCloud to take it down) Lido has become a staple in the scene with a bunch of other originals and remixes. This fall he'll be on tour with Boys Noize, Baauer, and friends. Check out the new video for his single "Money" off of his EP "I Love You".

Death From Above 1979's "Trainwreck 1979"
For fans of MSTRKRFT, Queens of the Stone Age, JAPANDROIDS, The Faint, HEALTH, Justice, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Cloud Nothings,WAVVES, The Blood Brothers.
It has been literally a decade since Canadian dance-punk duo Death From Above 1979 released a full album; but hell, this new LP "The Physical World" is pretty bad ass. Dance-rock has fallen off, especially with the advent of the EDM craze, but this new album is a definite renaissance moment for all those sweaty, leather-clad, skinny jean, 00's scenester nights. It's no surprise that the boys from DFA1979 have stayed relevant; Keeler has been active with MSTRKRFT over the past decade while Grainger has been making solo moves and working in the background. Their lead single "Trainwreck 1979" picks up exactly where they left off while still sounding fresh and current.

Basement Jaxx's "Never Say Never" ft. ETML
For fans of Daft Punk, Fat Boy Slim, Chromeo, Cassius, Groove Armada, The Chemical Brothers, Simian Mobile Disco, ARMAND VAN HELDEN, Hercules and Love Affair, Duck Sauce.
British dance-duo Basement Jaxx's new album "Junto" is their first full album in five years and it has been worth the wait. In that time, dance music was hijacked by the likes of the ambiguous EDM: over-commerclialized "progressive"-Big Room house (think Swedish House Mafia), Skrillex inspired-brostep, and the current over-the-hill trap music (aka hip-hop/rap EDM-ized). Now we have come full circle, back to club-friendly straight-forward house music. Basement Jaxx's sound has its history steeped in early Chicago house of the 80s and disco music of the 70s. In their video for their first single "Never Say Never", Jaxx Industries take their spin at the more recent fads in dance music with their creation of the "TW3RK-BOT 1.0: Bringing Dance Back To Mankind".

The preview video for Flying Lotus' new album "You're Dead" is insane. Cannot wait to see him in October. http://vimeo.com/103317489
Jungle's Busy Earnin'
For fans of SOHN, James Blake, Sylvan Esso. Dan Croll (Music), Tensnake, Jamie xx, Jamiroquai, Miike Snow.
To be honest, throwing a comparison on these guys is tough. UK electronic group Jungle dishes out some serious dance tracks and still maintains some great lyrical sense. Think Miike Snow but less indie rock and more disco soul. I'll just shut up and let you watch this awesome video instead.

Alvvays' "Archie, Marry Me"
For fans of Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, Surfer Blood, Camera Obscura, WAVVES, Best Coast, Bleachers, HAERTS, BROODS
Toronto-based surf rock quintet Alvvays show you what a lo-fi love and nostalgia drenched Canadian summer looks like in their new video for "Archie, Marry Me". Alvvays' self-titled debut album is a new favorite with their garage rock sound blended with a dream pop sentimentality. Plus their lead singer is a total babe.
