I cannot express how much it meant to me to have my family and friends together for my birthday. This year was different for me than every birthday I’ve experienced in the past. These past few weeks I have felt depressed, anxious, disappointed, conflicted, naive, wasteful, apathetic...emotions I didn’t know how to deal with (and still don’t).
