It's June, so it's Pride Month!

It is important to take the time to reflect on how our voices and actions can affect others. It takes almost no extra effort to correctly name and gender someone, or use their correct pronouns. It will go a long way to showing the card and basic respect deserved by everyone. Yet doing the opposite can and does lasting and painful damage. So please take this month of being bombarded by rainbow packaging and things 'being shoved in your face' to think and reflect on your attitudes and actions towards people. Everyone deserves love and respect, no exceptions.

There's already too much horrible stuff and hatred in this world, don't add to it ...

And also, just quietly, if you say 'I don't know any lgbtqia+ people,' ... sorry to break it to you, but the odds are you do, and there's a reason you don't know ... maybe reflect on why that is.

Yesterday, Discworld Monthly and Llamedos Holiday Camp turned up to Swansea Pride.

Assassins, Witches, Wizards, the Luggage, Seamstresses and Feegles all walked the parade and celebrated the diversity of life.

The sun shone brightly and the atmosphere was electric.

Huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers and entertainers who made the day so colourful especially our Section E marshal who was eager to know more about Terry's works.

tribute, my heart goes out to you

when i began my social media presence i told myself to not get into political matters, but i felt like this needed to be done and said. elections are a little bit of a tricky subject right now, with recounting votes and electoral college and all other procedures that i'm not familiar with, but i still wanted to draw something about it.

this is a tribute to the minorities who are gonna lose most if not all of their rights in the united states, wanted to draw them to let them know that they're loved by someone out there and are deserving of being human. please stay strong, i know it is and will be hard being who you are, but you must stand proud and if not for you - for those next to and after you.

Whoever sent me that anonymous "fanfic" (if you can call it that), and you know who you are, genuinely please get some help. I'm not a psychologist, but what you wrote reeks of some really deep anger issues and probably internalized homophobia. Even if in your mind you are just "trolling," that was way too detailed and long to be just a nasty joke.

Don't keep it bottled up because it will not go over well for you or for anyone else. This tag is about love—for a tv series, for two characters in particular, for the queer community, for romance—not about spewing hate. Mostly we're all just having fun. So kindly get bent. And please get some help.
