We are currently using the worlds resources approximately 1.8 times faster than the environment can reproduce it and in the case of plastic more than 1000 times faster than it can decompose back into the environment without damaging precious ecosystems and animals that our health and livelihood depends on. Just because it’s “on sale” it doesn’t mean you need it or should buy it. If you are one of those people who get suckered in by a “great deal” let me remind you of an even greater deal, THE DESTRUCTION OF THE VERY ENVIRONMENT THAT YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IS AT RISK DUE TO UNNECESSARY, UNCONSCIOUS, OVERCONSUMPTION. There are millions of people suffering from extreme poverty due to the current environment, not to mention the suffering of the environment, so before you go wasting your time and money buying more things, why not do something for the greater good, support a local small business NOT AMAZON! Help a friend in need, there’s plenty of them, support a charitable organisation that’s doing something good for society and or our environment, and for everyone’s sake, if you are going to spend your hard earned cash on a bit of retail therapy then please at least make sure you’re supporting eco friendly products and services.
