The definition "persnickety"
“It’s a tattoo machine, not a gun.” “You don’t dye your hair, you color it.” “They’re called plugs or tunnels, not gauges.” “Please polish your nails, don’t paint them.” These people will never fully be able to appreciate language for all that it stands for; torn between their spelling mistakes and grammar- fidgeting at night over syntax and pronunciation. Losing sleep over somebody else whose original intentions were innocent, and for the most part, correct. Well I’m here to say to all those poor fellows who get belittled, mocked, and humiliated over something as fucking pathetic as overly obsessed grammer Nazi twats, that “I heard what you meant.”
