it’s not the most common slang so i couldn’t be sure, but it doesn’t seem as venomous as something like “faggot”, for example

I just knew it was common enough that avatar had to change its uk subtitle from "the last airbender" to "the legend of aang" and that was about the extent of what I knew

but it fit the sentence when I wrote it
