I may have severe scoliosis, but I don't let it stop me. Gymnast since 6. Quit twice due to family emergencies. Recently started doing open gym for adults. Today, Everyone says "Your too trust worthy" "Your too honest, humble, caring" "You love too hard" That's why you get hurt and let down. Maybe these qualities, Allow me to hurt more than others. But these are good qualities. Not vulnerabilities. Just because the world is an awful place doesn't mean I have to be. Maybe if I'm "Too trust worthy" "Love too hard" "Care, honest, humble" the weak will take advantage of these qualities. But, Maybe I will inspire someone else to be better. And that's all I can hope for. - Don't let them take the best of you. -jpm

“ We found each other in the darkest of places, feeble. The only thing we knew is that we couldn’t go back. The darkness it followed in our shadows, always chasing us wherever we ran. There was no escaping, But we ran until we couldn’t run anymore. Together, we grew powerful. We fed off of each others success, Growing stronger than we have ever felt before. We grew invincible. We faced monsters, daily. The darkness, seaped in every crevice. Masking in faces we knew, Every day before bed we prepared for another day at battle. He knew perfectly when to allow me my silence to recollect my thoughts, And when to tell me we will be okay. He wasn’t just the person I loved, Through the good and the bad. He wasn’t my soul mate-who I forever searched for. He was my shield when I feel too weak to take another devastating blow. He was the reason I awoke every single day, stronger than before.

He never feared the dark, Or seen my fear of the dark as weakness. He was my light in the darkness, My saviour, My happiness. The one person who couldn’t possibly leave. He is the reason, I didn’t give into the darkness. He is the reason, I won’t let it win.
