Each computer needs to be locked by owner’s passwords. Even we have the private network inside company, but it does not mean everyone can access to your computer. Each department has its own confidential information which the others should not know. Moreover, there is no guaranty for such a business spy in a company who is easy to access in any computer and take the information.
· Don’t monitor employees:
Employers often believe their employees are spending more time on surfing than working. A company could install a surveillance software and supervision their employees through theirs computer. More than that, employer has the right to track the information in their employees’ computer. However, there is the data prove that in fact, 99% of the working population will feel more comfortable without electronic surveillance (Heathfield, 2016). There are many alternatives way to monitor employees rather than kick in their computer and tracking during work time. Employers need to develop trustworthy relationship with their workers. It has a huge impact on employee’s attitude at work.
· Don’t isolate telecommunication developing:
There is one in every five workers around the world telecommute. The developing of technology and communications have enable individuals to work more effectively and efficiency rather than locking themselves in the office. Telecommunication allows people communicate through e-mail, online chat 24/7 from distance to distance. At least 65% of people worldwide believe it is more flexible to control their work duties based on telecommunication (Reaney, 2012).
