FACEBOOK AND POLITICS ARE NOT FRIENDS.

Funny story for you guys:

Today I politically corrected a woman because she made reference to a video from 2015 which claimed Mexico was charging Americans a fee to enter into their country. The woman precedes to comment, “Are they charging their illegal Mexican citizens to go back to Mexico for a visit?” of which I, as nicely as possible, politically schooled her. In my response I let her know that there is no way an individual whom is a citizen of Mexico can be considered an “illegal Mexican citizen,” if they decide to go back to Mexico. 

I then messaged the guy who shared the video and apologized for an political havoc I may be potentially causing, I addressed him as “love,” thinking this was a close friend of mine who also has the same name. He messages me back a little while later informing me that, that woman was his grandma.

1) I UNKNOWINGLY POLITICALLY SCHOOLED SOMEONES GRANDMA.

2) In 2013 I messaged this guy calling him handsome and then addressed him as LOVE. This is NOT my friend. This is a complete stranger who I just happen to be friends with on Facebook.

3) MY ONLY SAVING GRACE IS THAT I AM NOW A LESBIAN

Lesson learned, don’t try to politically educate/correct an individual and then apologize for it because 1) it may be someones Grandma and 2) this person may be someone who you attempted to flirt with.

Here's a good laugh for everybody - sometimes you gotta laugh at yourself - especially when you eat shit.
